My First Look at Something "Old"

My expectation in coming here is that I would see Arabian history, but the shiny new Dubai doesn't have very much over 5 years old. Even the desert sand is completely covered in green grass and flowers. Finally, on the trip north, I found this old house in Sharja, in the process of being demolished. This is prize waterfront property to be replaced by shiney new skyscrapers.
The stones in front are the neatly stacked remnants of the houses already demolished.
