The ancient church was a sad reminder of days gone by. Like so many houses and buildings in New Mexico, the front door is painted blue to ward off evil.

I took a picture of this church from the window of the Southwest Chief. I wondered whether this church had been abandoned as it appeared to be. I was pleased to find your photo. I live in MA but have fallen in love with New Mexico
