Just to prove that I was really there...Notice the snow boarder behind me taking a break. The few people that you see on the slopes are beginning snowboarders sitting in the snow. The more advanced boarders have their own area called the Freestyle Terrain.
This is an incredible relief from the constant struggle that I've had at other ski resorts. The hotdoggers have a tendency to run over you if you don't get away quick enough. It's a luxury to have the slopes to yourself, undisturbed.
