Bagamoya - North of Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania

This was once a market for the Arabs, the Germans, and then the British to sell slaves from Tanzania. Gradually the missionaries in Bagamoya began buying the slaves to free and educate them. A school continues to operate at the site.
